Parenting Workshops aim to provide you with the confidence, understanding and practical skills that will enhance the development of your newborn.

• Are you interested in learning how to bathe, dress, hold, carry your newborn? We will give you a practical introduction using a baby sized doll.
• Do you want to spend time with our experienced staff members in advance of giving birth to discuss questions of your concern individually?
• Do you want to learn more about specific topics of interest, such as your baby's cognitive development or about feeding or sleeping issues? Just contact us and we will be more than happy to tailor a specific Workshop to suit your needs!

Comfortable in the convenience of your own home, individually tailored to cover all questions of your concern including practical advice regarding the handling of your newborn we will do our best to prepare you thoroughly for the arrival of your baby.

We understand that you might have read a lot about different approaches and strategies in the past few weeks and months. Advice given in literature might be contradictory and might have contributed to you feeling even more confused and insecure as in to what is the "golden way" in caring for your baby. Due to our broad experience we will be able to simplify strategies and theories to suit your individual situation.

Our workshops are interactive, personalized and specifically tailored to suit your needs. They provide you with a basic preparation along with tips for the care of your newborn. Having attended one of our workshops will boost your confidence, your understanding about your newborns development and changing needs and most importantly it will teach you practical skills like bathing, dressing, taking temperatures...

Parenting Workshop format:

• Informal and interactive setting, preferably only up to two couples to guarantee you the best possible learning outcomes
• 2 hours + in length, depending of couples needs
• Conveniently in your own home
• Hands-on teaching approach

Areas covered in the Workshop:

• Equipping your home and nursery including general supply list of what you need
• What to expect while in hospital
• The first days in your own home with your baby
• Practical hands-on demonstration of daily routines, like bathing, dressing, feeding...
• Time for parents to practice handling of baby using a baby sized doll
• Development of routines regarding feeding and sleeping patterns
• Guidelines regarding food intake of mother and newborn
• Medical issues: constipation, fever, teething...
• Any other topic of concern for parents can be individually prepared and conducted in a separate workshop
