Consultation
Our Consultation Service provides you with professional advice regarding difficulties you may be encountering with your newborn.
Is this for me?
Parents always encounter situations in which they don't seem to be able to find the answer to their newborn's needs any more. "Why is my baby not sleeping, not eating, but crying all the time?", is just one example of questions parents will have at some point.
Information provided in the latest literature can be very contradictory and can contribute to further confusion. In those situations the knowledge, experience and common sense of our experienced staff can guide you a long way.
Our team members will come to your home to assess the situation and to rule out any obvious medical reasons for your child being unsettled. Remember: We don't act as Nurse Practitioner or Pediatricians, although some of our team members are trained as Pediatric Nurses! If there are medical issues, we always recommend to see a Doctor!
If there are no obvious medical reasons we will assess the environment and observe your newborn's daily routines. Where necessary we will suggest changes and we will make sure to give you hands-on advice as in how to establish these changes in your daily routine.
Please don't expect improvements straight away, as solving problems can - in some cases - be a process of elimination. Although we are experienced and we will put all our efforts in finding solutions for your concerns, we can't perform magic. But: we will continue to work with you and your baby until the problem is solved.
If you are unable to book our Home visits, please try our email- or telephone consultancy service!
